If you're looking to clean up mess fast then a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The best robot vacuums and mops that I tested had great navigation and mapping. They sucked up Cheerios and fake dog turds as well as tangled wires.
They're also simple to use with an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and see what they're up to.
1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra
The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot mop and vacuum. It has the latest features. If you're looking to buy a hands-free robot vacuum that has mopping capabilities, the Yeedi Cube is one of the more flexible choices. It's part of a plethora of combo robot vacuums that also feature mops but is priced at a cheaper price than the majority of competitors.
As with most robovacs the Yeedi Cube also requires some work to get it up and running. This includes setting up an account on the app and connecting the device to your WiFi network. Once that's done the robot can begin mopping and vacuuming with ease.
It is important to remember that the mapping process can take a while and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate image of your room. Additionally the detection of objects can be hit or miss It was able to skim over furniture and other obstacles but was stuck on a loose tassel rug and had to turn itself over to free itself. But these are minor flaws and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those looking for an all-in-one cleaner.
3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete
The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete offers a three-in-1 home cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping features a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubbing. This means that floors are cleaned and not just swept. The vacuum stick that can be detached is an innovative tool that can get to places a robot vacuum cannot.
This model is basically identical to the popular X2 Omni, but with an increased suction power of 8700Pa and some additional smart features. The RGBD sensor upgrade is able to learn your home and offer an adaptive obstacle avoidance. The app's smart feature allows you to modify a range of settings including AI cleanings and virtual boundaries.
The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and the mop returning to their charging station after each task to clean their pads, empty their dust bins, and then place the debris in the self-sealing bags. This helps to keep the system clean and prevents allergens from recirculating. The battery's life is enough to remove large areas without the need for the battery to be charged mid-clean.
4. Eufy S1 Pro
As one of the expensive robot vacuum and mop models, the Eufy S1 Pro offers impressive features for its price. It features a powerful 8,000 Pa suction, a rotary floor brush for carpets and a fantastic obstacle avoidance. It also has a unique mopping method, which uses a roller continuously doused with water to pull dirt and then deposit it in the water that is dirty tank.
Its navigation technology performed well in navigating close to walls without crashing, and avoiding steps. However, it had trouble with fine engrained debris and wasn't always able to clear raised room thresholds. The operating noise level is also high, and it could be a less reliable set-and-forget model than some.
Like many robotic vacuums and mop cleaners, the S1 Pro comes with a docking station that can replenish its clean water, empty its dustbin and mop pad, and wash and dry its mop. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro to spend more time cleaning floors on an ongoing basis. You can control all of its functions via the Eufy app, which provides an overview of the system and plenty of options for configuration.
5. Freo X Ultra
The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top vacuums/mowers on the market. It offers impressive vacuuming and mopping results. The LIDAR sensors for mapping can identify furniture legs, obstacles, and other obstacles with a reasonable precision. The app allows users to fine-tune the coverage of the map, create no-go zones, and even customize cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to prevent hair from wrapping around it, which is a major issue with many robotic vacuums.

This robot is just a few hundred dollars more expensive than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my home office clean. It is also able to reach all corners of my tiny apartment. It uses a laser mapping camera and laser to create a 3D-map of your home, so it knows what to stay clear of. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can avoid things like toys and dog bowls (but not Poop) unlike other vacuums.
Other great features include a self emptying dustbin as well as a mop that's self-washing and adjustable for water temperature and a side-reaching brush that can reach areas that other mops miss. You can also set your own cleaning schedule in the app and customize settings for every room in your home.
Similar to the S8 It also has multi-room smart mapping, and can distinguish between laminate flooring, carpets and hardwood with high-pile rugs. It can also skip mopping rooms that are not filthy if you're trying to save time. If you have a variety of flooring in your house and don't wish to spend more money on a Roborock that comes with advanced mapping capabilities this is a great option.
7. Q5 Pro
This robot is an excellent choice to consider if you're looking for a robot that can perform regular maintenance on a daily basis and touch-ups to wet messes. It offers a broad range of features including the ability to empty the dustbin on its own, an additional water refill dock, and adjustable settings in the app. It is surprisingly quiet and easily moves around furniture legs or socks. It's not able to pick up the tangled tassels of a rug and it drains its battery more quickly than other models we've test.
With a price tag of less than $250, the Q5 Pro is a bargain-friendly powerhouse that packs serious suction and useful automation into a slick design. It didn't perform as well in our mopping and mopping tests as the much expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra, but it still did extremely well overall. It also comes with a range of cleaning modes to meet your needs, ranging from the low-power 'Quiet' mode for light debris to the more powerful 'Turbo' mode for carpeted rooms. It even has the ability to automatically remove and reattach mop pads, without getting your carpets wet.
8. K10 Plus
The K10 Plus is a great robot vacuum and mop for people who live in small spaces. It's extremely quick and quiet, and it can navigate tight spaces well. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair off carpeting.
It's smaller than many of its competitors however, it doesn't compromise any features. It has a good amount of suction power, and it can be configured to take photos of every object it finds (i.e., chew toys or socks, etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they don't get removed during subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure and are not tied to your account.
It's great for vacuuming, but not as well in mopping. It makes use of disposable wet wipes that you clip to the bottom of the bot and it essentially drags them across your floor. Compare this with the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra and Narwhal that have water reservoirs and automatically wash and reattach their mophead.
